Really crappy little bank They have a high yield but no service and a really poor website and app. Seems like they could go out of business any day leaves you uneasy giving them money to hold
I deposited $3000 into my savings from another bank. That deposit was CASH. THERE IS NO POINT AT ALL FOR EVERBANK TO “HOLD” that money for 3 business days!!!
I opened a high interest savings account last November and at the time there was a $50k daily limit on out-going transfers. Sometime thereafter, they "temporarily" imposed a $2500 daily limit on out-going transfers. On March 4, 2025, they increased it to a whopping $5k daily transfer limit. I needed to make a transfer greater than $5k to another bank quickly so my only option was to wire the money. I attempted to open an account online but was denied. When I called the number on the website to find out why I was denied, the person answering the phone did not know why I was denied, and said noone here would know. I then called their Clearwater, FL facility and asked the same question and got the same curt answer. I wrote a letter to the CEO of the bank and got a phone call from one of his representatives.
