I opened an account with this bank on July 1st. Today I received a call informing me that my account will be closed, with no advance notice. When I asked for an explanation, I was told the reason was "private" and could not be disclosed to me. This is unacceptable. This bank sucks and so do all the branches.
Although the name of the bank is on the building, the actual bank is not inside the building at all. Ridiculous if you ask me.
To the Executive Team of EverBank, On March 15, 2026, I applied online for a joint High Performance Savings account with my wife and was immediately denied without any explanation. After contacting Customer Service on March 16, I was informed that no reason could be provided and was advised to reapply. I have an open claim with this bank concerning a wire transfer. My bank’s fraud department has been trying to contact them and they have not responded for MONTHS. They are holding my money hostage. Now going on 5 months. Impossible to find a real person there to talk to. Awful.
