I am a Critical Care Nurse of 47 years. My sister. PAT has Lymphodema for decades. Her Physicians always told her she was fat, which she was. On her own, she lost 150lbs, but her legs never changed. In January 2025, she had a car accident which landed her in the hospital and then to a rehab center. During her hospital stay in ICU she diuresed so much fluid her legs actually decreased in size.
