Go, Thrifty. I haven't rented a car in 30 years and this was smooth.
Downgraded me to a compact car from an intermediate car that I paid for. Their excuse was that they don’t have any other cars left. Meanwhile there were several bigger SUVs on the parking lot. If you’re not in a rush, take your time to fight for an upgrade. I’m gonna go get my refund…
I reserved a midsize. The only vehicle available was a large minivan. I made reservations for a midsize. Apparently, making reservations doesn't guarantee the size vehicle requested.
Rented a Nissan for a business trip. Car was great, clean but smelled fully of weed. No one needs to show up for a business appointment smelling of weed. Do something about weed smelling cars...send them to Newark.
I can't believe the negative reviews!!!! I had such a pleasant experience. The staff member was helpful and friendly and within a few minutes I drove off in a brand new (2025 Nissan Rouge) sparkling clean car with less than 800 miles on the odometer. Highly recommend!!!!
