The staff were friendly but had no idea, they had 100 cars with enough space for 50. Watching terrified drivers trying not to smash on the way out was worth the 2 stars …..

Absolutely disgusted with the lack of care and customer service by a staff member at Hertz/Thrifty Surfers Paradise today at 5 minutes past 5pm. I am a visitor to Surfers, I rented a car two days ago from the Surfers office with the intention of returning it to Gold Coast Airport tomorrow morning. Subsequently, Gold Coast airport closed due to Tropical Cyclone Alfred and our flights tomorrow were cancelled.
