The one and only time I strayed away from enterprise and I regret it. So first when I made the rental I double checked the policy that says that if you dont have a credit card then a debit can be used with a 500 dollar deposit and if you didnt have a flight a 2nd form of identification could be used. I went in for my rental and got told absolutely not. I was okay with the higher deposit. They said nope they would not take a debit card period unless I had a flight. Do not ever rent from Thrift car rental. My confirmation email said one price and when I got to the counter, they nearly charged me double. They would not honor the booking price, but at that point, I had no other option. A car seat was supposed to be included, they charged me for that as well. Not to mention it was torn up, would not tighten, and expired in a couple months. I denied the extra charges on my credit card which my credit card company worked out and refunded me for. Attendant had an attitude before and after my turn at the counter. Also they will not accept digital credit cards, they have to be able to hold the tangible card in their hand so forget about your digital wallet. For an extra 600 bucks (he thinks and is not sure) they can use a debit card.
