Great experience with Zak at Thrify's counter. Large family trip and not all vehicles were reserved at another provider and they were out of vehicles. Zak was quick to help out and get us another vehicle with them. He was kind, quick to respond and really helped us out.

Thrifty does not accept debit cards! Drove from idaho to thrifty as we had a reservation there for a mid-size. The young lady at the desk immediately informed us that they don't take debit cards, that was it. I let them know how happy I was and bailed. Total, complete joke for customer service. I never put bad reviews but I felt obligated to let the public know - don't waste your time with Thrifty, you will be disappointed. Thanks.

Thru a misunderstanding I take some responsibility for, the charge on the Jeep I rented was much higher than expected. I spoke with the local airport desk manager Dan Slagle. He promptly called me back and credited my card an amount we both agreed was reasonable. It was a pleasure dealing with someone responsive, professional, fair and most importantly, someone who knows who the customer is. I would use them again.

Been renting from them before I send my wife by herself to see her parents original quote 608 then she gets their and 1400 said she up graded but she told them no and still did it they did this because she was a woman by herself and will not help us resolve the problem called multiple times been hung up on been sent to manager voice mail which did not go anywhere but to a dial tone so please do not rent from this rental company they take advantage of woman then clam up when caught i see why the have a 3 on review

Lied to at counter about gas pre payment. "If returned within 3 1/2 gallons of full, we won't charge you the pre payment". I said I always bring it back full, he threw it on there "just in case". I said whatever you need to do, but I'll bring it back full. Brought back full, even invoice shows that, still charged the $67 for the gas prepayment. Ultimately charged almost $100 more than originally quoted. As someone who rents 20-30 cars a year, I've literally never experienced anything like this. Corporate said this is a "Lega... read more
