My experience was very unfavorable. Car windows were so FILTHY that I could hardly see. Customer service was HORRIBLE, and I was charged for a day that I didn't have the vehicle. I can't speak to anyone who will address these issues.
The "upgrade " was dirty, seats torn, and had service engine lights for the entire rental period. There were no other cars available and customer service could have cared less. Can't wait to give my business to another rental company.
On Monday, September 8th, I flew into Shreveport expecting to get my rental and hit the road for a business trip. Well, I ended up waiting FOUR HOURS for my car to be ready! 20+ customers left sitting around the Hertz counter waiting (Thrifty counter didn’t have anyone working and there was a sign directing customers to check in with the Hertz counter). On Friday, September 5, 2025, I landed in Shreveport to find people sitting around near the counter. When I approached the guy at the counter whom I have assumed is a Manager as he has been there over the last few months that I have flown in, asked me to take a seat and it would be a few minutes as cars were getting cleaned. I had a reservation for a car but when I arrived was told the cars were being washed and serviced and that I would need to wait an undisclosed amount of time for a rental with 4-5 people ahead of me. I was told I was lucky that there were cars available at all. This is despite my having a reservation. The clerk was careful to check that I was within two hours of my reservation time saying that if not she would cancel the reservation.
