Front desk worker not helpful or friendly very negative
AVOID. Dishonest business practices. Outright lied at time of rental.
Not saying Kelowna Thirfty was to blame. My experience with how their online booking canceling process worked, was just insane! The thirfty policy charges a non refundable charge of over $100 to cancel booking. This was for me just wanting to move dates around...To top it off I couldn't talk with them directly as a third party Expedia had to be the one to officially cancel it...While talking with them they said they couldn't do it..and 3 agents later it was finally resolved. Extemely difficult man to deal with. He gave me a rental car quote and then kept adding obscene charges AFTER he had charged my card! This was unacceptable and I cancelled everything! More than a week later these charges are still not refunded! If this continues I will be forced to take them to small claims court to get my money back plus hardship compensation! These people should be investigated and shutdown!
