I wouldn’t recommend Thrifty in Kalispell due to the poor communication, inconsistent information, and lack of accountability. My flight was delayed, but I wasn’t worried because I received a text from Thrifty stating, “We’ll hold it for 8 hours if your flight is delayed. No need to modify.” When I landed, however, I had a voicemail saying they only hold cars for 2 hours. I tried calling back twice immediately after landing, but both calls went straight to voicemail. Do not get a car rental with them. There was no process to drop off that car and confirm that the vehicle was in perfect condition, and instead sent me a bill weeks later. DO NOT USE THEM

Best value car rental. I was skeptical after reading the reviews, but I had zero issues.

Less than one star. Over a month later I received an email claiming I had returned the car with a cracked windshield. There was no cracked windshield. In fact, I had issues with the rental from day one when the oil change light came on. I called Thrifty’s 1-800 number twice to ask for advice only to be told this specific location was privately owned and each time Thrifty’s customer service tried to call the Kalispell location while I was on hold no one answered.
