Door was messed up. It didn’t close or open properly at times. I was basically ignored when I returned the car. Lady at the counter was not very interested in customer service. Spend your hard-earned money else where.
Easy and accommodating
One of the worst rental experiences I’ve ever had. I reserved and paid for an all-wheel drive vehicle from Thrifty for a trip to the Mauna Kea Summit in Hawaii, where AWD is required. Thrifty gave me a rear-wheel drive vehicle without informing me of the change. I only found out after driving all the way to the Visitor Center, where we were turned away — wasting an entire day of our trip and the purpose of staying in Hilo.
