Twice in a week have either Hertz or Thrifty (same company, same location) have disappointed me. Yesterday I was driving to Bunnings to hire a van, and thought as I drove past thrifty /hertz I’d try there as I had hired a truck just 2 days earlier. I walked in wanting to hire a van, every time I’ve booked a vehicle the paperwork process takes maybe 5 minutes. Extremely disappointed with there service Not recommending for others Be careful
Thrifty Rental is an absolute joke. First, their website shows a rate of $18 to book a vehicle. But when you try to book it, you have to call, and then they tell you it's actually $110. Then, they transfer you to the branch, and suddenly it's $200 because it's the weekend. The guy who gave me the $110 rate already checked the date and time before quoting it, so what gives? These people are the shadiest bunch around. Avoid them at all costs.
