I understand the one-star review here, and I cancelled just beforehand so there were no further issues, but this company is clearly problematic. We requested a hybrid option, but I think it was just a decoy. They said it was absolutely obvious that it wasn't available, as if they were looking at us like we were idiots. We canceled immediately. It caused a major change in our travel plans, but I'll consider it a blessing in disguise. We didn't have any further issues. One more thing. Lord I hate LAX. The shuttle is a nightmare if you 2 or more pieces of luggae and trying to get to the ride app lot. However you also need to take a shuttle to get to the rentals cars. The ride is not short, the shuttle stops very frequently. The rental agency itself was fairly quickly and veru friendly. Easy to pick your car and go. My recommendation: Don't use LAX. If you are looking for a better option than UBER, renting a car is the way to go. Either way is a nightmare to get to.

There were several problems with Thrifty and I am very dissatisfied. I rent cars pretty often, but I will never rent from Thrifty, ever again. Thrifty is a terrible company who takes advantage of their customers. You're better off renting from Avis or Enterprise. They have much better cars, much better customer service, and I’ve never had any issues with them. I reserved the vehicle 5 days in advance and the vehicle was no longer available during the 9am pick up time.

Let me start with Magbet is one of the worst people to deal with he try’s to give you a run down of things but I have never dealt with someone as bad and scammer like when try to rent a car he tried to up charge us $600 for something we didnt need this is where management needs to get involved!!!!!

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. Worst experience trying to rent a car. Was quoted price online and then at counter price changed with unmentioned hidden fees. Worst experience I would rent through Turo much easier.
