The worst customer service ever, bad attitude, the will lie about your reservation even with an email they sent themselves. Just bunch of charges keep adding up right at the counter for no reason.
After reading reviews I was leary of renting from Thrifty, but we had a great experience, good customer service and a reliable rental car.
I had a great initial car rental experience wtih Thrify at the Bozeman International airport and had a small clean SUV for 3 days at an excellent price ~$207. I returned the car 1 hour and 12 minutes late (I was delayed driving through a snow storm) and was charged a full additional, $191. The Thrifty website says that you should not be charged for a full day unless you return your car 1 hour and 30 minutes late. I just returned my rental car to Thrifty. I left the car in a long line and no one from Thrifty was there to accept the car. The sign said to leave keys in car. After checking my bag, I realized I left my phone charger in the console. This was an expensive multi connector type charger for all my devices. 10 minutes after I initially left the car, I returned and the car was gone. Dollar chose not to honor a reservation made in January for a trip beginning today. The initial reservation was $340 for a week and they are offering a car for $700/day instead. Just claiming that they’re a franchise location so they can do what they want instead of honoring a substantial corporate account’s negotiated rates. The “manager in training”, Gordon, was of no help.
