Very quick obtaining and returning car. Car drove great and was very clean. Great mileage. A/C was needed and also worked very well. Overall a very good experience.
They don’t honor your reserved car sizes and give you cars outside if what you reserve. We reserved a Nissan armada/chevy Tahoe and they gave us a Hyundai palisades, which is substantially smaller. When I questioned the vehicle they acted rudely like I didn’t know anything about cars and said I had No choice. This is my second bad experience with thrifty/hertz in Asheville. Expedient service at both pick-up and drop-off. Received an upgrade at no additional charge. Extremely satisfied with the rental.
Getting a rental car, any rental car, will be much easier when the construction at the Asheville airport is completed. More personnel are needed at the counter to shorten the wait time, which was quite long.
Two hours sitting at the Asheville, thrifty car rental. This was a car rental with a full deposit to hold. If you have any other option off of the airport property, take it.
