Charged me exprbitantly! I was charged $220 for three days and then they charged an extra 350 on top of that saying some taxes and all. Never going to them again
Had to wait excessive amount of time for vehicle.
The car was not ready for the time I booked it and I was not the only one who had to wait. He said I would have to wait an hour. I returned after one hour only to have to wait another 25 minutes more because an irate couple was arguing with the one employee. I checked and none of the other car rental companies had cars. I would think that St. John's tourism center would want to know that visitors to the area are encountering this major problem.
Car isn't ready on time for pickup. Asked to wait 45 min for a car that was pre-booked for a specific time. Rented cars across Canada, US, and Europe. 3 times here in St. John's. Never had an issue. Until Thrifty... Magnificent.
