Steer clear of this rental company. We pre ordered a rental online to pickup at the airport. The desk agent attempted to pull a bait and switch saying our car would now be almost $700, over $500 more than we reserved it for. Desk agent also insisted that our credit card was a debit card and wanted to hold an ADDITIONAL $500 because it was a debit card(it wasn't). Just do yourself a favor and DO NOT rent from this place.

Thrifty is truly horrible! I had really poor counter help, horrible lot help, and an absolutely filthy car that I was stuck with! Plus, they do this bait and switch where your ar isn't in the lot, so pay $165 more, and we have a car for you. Go anywhere else but this place!!! Horrible service and horrible cars!! Don't even think about trying to call customer service, it doesn't exist, every 800 number tells you to go to a website and fill out a form. I guess they got tired of hearing about their poor service and cars. Update... read more

I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with my recent rental experience, which occurred from March 24th at SRQ Airport.
