Vary bad experience. Our foult was to what they called a "Wild card". Still it supposed to be min for 4, min 4 bags etc, with fuel policy fuel-fuel. At checking-in, the guy asked what kind of car we want, we said no electric one. So he can offer us Tesla! And to have any different one, we have to cancel our reservation and pay for new one. The rest of vacation we were spending On parkings and private places, charging our Tesla every 10% battery per 2 hours, as there were not fast stadions north of Vancouver Island.
Good experience all went smoothly and in a timely fashion, but make sure you allow enough time on car return for inspection and paperwork 20 to 30 mins.

Der Thrifty Mitarbeiter am Counter war sehr höflich, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Er war ehrlich und versuchte nicht uns unnötige Versicherungspakete anzudrehen. Wir waren zu früh und dennoch bemühte er sich um ein für uns passendes Auto, welches er uns dann auch zur Verfügung stellen konnte. Er gab uns gute Tips für die bevorstehende Reise.
I had a great experience with Thrifty Car Rental. The check-in process was smooth and quick, and the staff member who helped me was incredibly friendly and professional. I honestly don’t understand the negative reviews — everything went just as expected, if not better. The car was clean, ready on time, and the overall process was efficient. Would definitely rent from them again!
