Rented a vehicle through Uber - was supposed to be a large SUV. Gave me something small, but still a decent ride. Friendly staff
You can’t promise a car on signing the agreement and give a smaller car. Its like stealing. You dont have the car and want to give a different car - give a larger one
Would not recommend Thrifty. I had a Visa card and they would not accept it, so I stood at the airport on a Friday evening at 10 pm alone without a car and had to still drive for 90min to my accommodation. Luckily another car rental service at the airport gave me a car. What really made me angry is that I did not get my 257 CHF back from Thrifty that I had paid upfront. Also, not sure if this is the same for other car rentals, I suddenly had to pay much more money because I was told that winter tyres are mandatory in October... read more
Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Aus Deutschland über Check24 gebucht. Keine Wartezeit, Neuwagen, freundliche Mitarbeiter. Auch bei der Rückgabe alles gut gelaufen. Ich kann nichts negatives erwähnen.
I will never use Thrifty at Vancouver Airport again. I have also instructed my company to NOT use them. Booked a car for two days through Expedia and they double booked me and also billed me for insurance without consent. Avoid at all cost!
