I would never rent a car from Thrifty again. One star rating is too high. Very hard upselling, worst I have ever had for extra insurance that I did not need. Car was very difficult to control, with very worn tires not gripping in winter conditions. Might have to try Uber for the first time of my life if my car is in the shop again.

Adam at the Winnipeg desk for thrifty exemplifies poor customer service. Thrifty was unable to honor my reservation for a minivan. I asked them for a credit. He literally walked away from the desk and told me that I would need to be served by someone else. My star rating is referring to Adam. Jashan In contrast did a wonderful job. She actually did exactly what Adam said. He couldn’t do meaning since they weren’t able to provide me with a mini van she gave me a discount. Which is all I really wanted. So thankful for her.
