Was charged a rate different from the contract amount. I'm waiting for a response on why.
If you enjoy scavenger hunts and being disappointed, I'd recommend booking a rental from Thrifty's downtown Seattle location — because that's what this reservation turned into, minus any prize at the end. I booked a 2-day rental for a 9am pick-up through the Capital One Travel Portal, expecting a simple, straightforward start to a fun adventure. I don't get all the negative reviews. The downtown Seattle people were efficient and courteous.
Email confirmation had several discrepancies with the main thing being that although it was stated that we would have a car waiting to pick us up at the ferry terminal, there was not a car and we still had to take a taxi to the office with an additional cost not planned into our trip. The company serves many customers at one time, more staff is needed. The building isn’t clearly marked how to get to the office or how to return the car to that parking garage. Had a great experiance this morning! The lady checking me in before opening. Helped me is so many ways. She even helped me with using my Uber app and getting me where I needed to go!! They went above and beyond today when I was already very stressed and on the verge of tears.
