I wish I had read the reviews before I wasted my time with Thrifty. After waiting 20 mins, I was asked to fill in a sheet that asked my name and my car insurance details. I explained I was a tourist so I didn’t have US car insurance but was happy to purchase the top level rental insurance to cover the car (in addition to travel insurance that had rental car coverage).
