I wouldn't waste your time going. They will charge you to add an extra driver. MORE expensive than enterprise but they look to have more cars on their lot
I am writing this review with deep disappointment regarding my recent experience with Thrifty Car Rental. What should have been a routine rental during an already stressful situation turned into an ordeal due to the dishonesty and exploitation of one of their employees. Thrifty car rental provided me with a very positive experience. There was no waiting when picking up or returning the vehicle. The representatives were very friendly and caring as were the shuttle drivers.
Stay away! It’s not worth the $5-10 you will save a day compared to the others. I arrived at STL airport, went to the shuttle area as instructed and after 25+ minutes a Thrifty shuttle never came. Every other company had 3-4 shuttles come in that time. I had to call the Thrifty location in STL to get them to send a shuttle. There were some questionable reviews, but there were no other cars available for less than $300/per day, it was a last minute trip. After arriving at the St. Louis airport, I made my way to the Thrifty waiting site. Within a few minutes the shuttle was there, we went over to the Thrifty lot, maybe 10 min drive. The check in and out staff were very courteous and I felt like it was a friendly atmosphere. The car had some dents in ot from being in a hail storm. I was fine with that.
