I have used Thrifty Car Rental twice in Hilo Hawaii and I am highly satisfied with the customer service given me. I was happy both times with the automobiles assigned to me. I did not just feel like a number, but that the employees genuinely cared about my needs as a customer. I was very happy with the charge of the car rental also! The next time I visit Hilo, I will confidently use Thrifty Car Rental again.
One star because the car got me from point A to point B. Upon arrival and pickup of my reserved vehicle, I was disappointed to find the car in unacceptable condition. The interior was caked with sunscreen, the vehicle smelled faintly of smoke, and it appeared visibly dirty. There were even used cigarettes left inside the car.
