Thrifty really takes advantage of travelers who's flights get delayed. My wife and I had a reservation for pick up in Dayton for about 300 dollars and when we got delayed and discovered we not only couldn't fly into dayton but had to pick it up at another airport they jacked up their rates pretty high. I get there's business behind it all but the cost is absorbent and it really screws over travelers that are at the mercy of these airline companies that can only do so much just to make it their destination. I recently had an issue with overbilling on an upgrade. Even thought the receipt was in agreement with what they charged, it was not what I was told by the local Thrifty Agent. After two emails to the customer care center the situation was rectify. I commend Thrifty for doing the right thing. I will definitely continue to use Thrifty as a go to car rental.
Cashier could not have been any nicer! The cars are dirty. The second car assigned smells of smoke/weed and the seats are dirty!!! I am waiting for them to open to talk to someone.
This is the car rental company that gives car rental companies a bad name. I just received a “vehicle incident report” trying to blame me for PRE-EXISTING damage. Thankfully, I always take photos prior to leaving the lot when I pick up a rental car so I have time/location stamped proof that the scratches were there previously. I find it very hard to believe that this damage was not already documented in their system, and I doubt I am the first person they have pulled this scam with. Good price! But bad customer service at return counter. Waited 15mins to return a key . Gotta find a better way!
