They charged me twice. I ended up paying almost $700 on a $345 rental. I wouldn't recommend using them!
Bad experience with the rental overcharged in the card than the decided price and long tedious process to get the refund.
Thrifty really takes advantage of travelers who's flights get delayed. My wife and I had a reservation for pick up in Dayton for about 300 dollars and when we got delayed and discovered we not only couldn't fly into dayton but had to pick it up at another airport they jacked up their rates pretty high. I get there's business behind it all but the cost is absorbent and it really screws over travelers that are at the mercy of these airline companies that can only do so much just to make it their destination. I recently had an issue with overbilling on an upgrade. Even thought the receipt was in agreement with what they charged, it was not what I was told by the local Thrifty Agent. After two emails to the customer care center the situation was rectify. I commend Thrifty for doing the right thing. I will definitely continue to use Thrifty as a go to car rental.
