Dirty car and horrible customer service. Manager called cussed me out about a declined on my card after I called them letting them know that I lost my wallet over the weekend and will be in to update payments. Told me can’t rent to be because of a declined on a Amex that have no limit on it

I made a reservation, but my flight was delayed several hours. I knew I wasn’t going to get in until after 1 AM, so I called Thrifty. They were willing to accommodate. Despite having to stay open for what appeared to be only me, Darnell had a positive attitude and got me on my way in no time. I’ve been in similar situations at other locations where the closing employee didn’t do this. Booked through Expedia.com and was happy and surprised over the cheap rental. However there is NOTHING, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING thrifty about this company... honestly will never book here again. Too many hidden fees, too expensive when I didn't even rent my rental for a whole day (13 1/2 hours). They charge a security deposit of $250 when you pay with a damn debit card. My total was over $150 for just 13 hours..... Plus the 250 so my total was over 400 bucks.... ridiculous I get we are in a recession but these prices are greedy..... read more
