When I arrived for drop off with my 86 year old dad, Michael told us he would have someone take us over to the airport. Another very nice young man drove us over and dropped us off right where we needed to be. Drop off of the vehicle was simple but the customer service was outstanding.

They have like five counters open. But it’s like the DMV. Every customer seems to take 10+ minutes to rent a car. I don’t understand what they are doing. ID, credit card, sign papers… how did renting a car become harder at Thrifty? Maybe hire some consultants and ask yourself what are the reasons these simple transactions take so long to execute. In the meantime, it’s worth the premiums to use Avis/National or someone else with faster service. They try to upsell everything. The lady downstairs by the cars was great tho

European tourist here. Rented SUV for two weeks from Thrifty via DiscoverCars.com from Seattle airport in summer 2025. The salesman in Thrifty was extremely scammy, trying very hard to scare me into buying the most expensive insurance from Thrifty even though he was well aware that I had the best insurance from DiscoverCars. After I firmly stated that I'm grateful but not interested in the insurance he started to be very angry and unpleasant, not even saying bye. I'm very polite and friendly person by the way.
