They have the worst client service I’ve experienced. I had a reservation for 5:00 pm I got there 20 min earlier and they told me that the car wasn’t ready, to come back at 5. When I got back they told me again they didn’t had any cars and when I complained because I did had a prepaid reservation at 5 she told me to find a car someone else because they didn’t know when the cars are gonna be ready and that is not her problem. We rented a car for our family vacation and prepaid. When we arrived we asked that my husband be made the driver of the car, however we were told that was not possible without a significant additional fee. We explained that he would be the only driver, however were told since I made the reservation i had to be the driver, despite the reservation being made with a joint credit card. Paid through their website with a debit card weeks in advance, got to the counter and they said they only accept credit cards. I told them we had already paid in full, they said even though I had already paid since it was with a debit card it wasn’t valid. I had to get out of line, call customer service, cancel my reservation, request a refund and make a new reservation with a credit card. Thrifty can seriously count there days, I was told that i was going to to get my refund back of 400.00 comes to find out they denied and stated that i did pick up the rental when in fact i did not pick it up. so now i am at lost of 400.00, this was even after the lady at the desk told me exactly what to say. again she also acted like her shit didn't smell and look down on me. Just very sad an pathetic that someone from Out of State had to experience this.
