I would think twice before using Thrifty at Tucson airport. For one, the local number is not in service, so be warned. If you have to drop off a car earlier.... Let me help you out. There's an early morning key drop off between 0430 and 0700. Note. If you drop off the key, there is NO..... I repeat NO shuttle service. I was told by the customer rep, that it's only a five minute walk. WOW.... I have used Thrifty, free-standing off airport site several times. Staff is very professional, excellent attitude and customer service, no problems. Arriving at airport, proceed to car rental area, use Thrifty call-line, within minutes a pickup van will take you to offsite Thrifty. Returning vehicle is also simple.
