The agent in the Hertz, Thrifty & Budget office is HORRIBLE. There is nothing online when I booked through Expedia that a debit card rental cannot be for the same day. I read the debit card policy. Not one mention that cannot be a same day rental. He was useless and absolutely unhelpful. He couldn't even cancel our reservation, pointed to a sign that has the policy and gave us the corporate number to call. I will never rent from either of these 3 car rental companies.
