Walked up and was told they had availability. My TX license was expired, and they said I could email the temporary issued by the state of Texas which I did. They then tell me they won’t accept it. The 3 men working the desk were incredibly rude, clearly don’t know their own policies (just reviewed them myself and my temporary printout with my expired hard copy license is valid). I would give Zero stars if I could! We are TN residents. We rented a car Mar 29th with no issues. Booked another rental, again through Expedia (nothing has changed as far as ins or where we live….however today we were told WE CANT RENT A CAR BECAUSE WE LIVE IN TN AND DONT HAVE FULL COVERAGE. We were told we can not purchase their insurance. They said it’s a new policy and TN residents have to now own a car and have full coverage on their personal vehicles to rent from thrifty.
