I told the guy I was only going to be 1 day in Florida and that I didn't need full coverage and with liability was find and he still charge me $35 additional and after he charge me full coverage he couldn't remove it due to already being charge to my credit card , becareful with this rental company they like to charge additional and when you try to get your money back they make a bunch of excuses

Second time renting from Thrifty in the FLL airport. Getting the car and returning the car was super easy. I picked up my car Saturday at 8:30am and there was only a few people in line same as when the first time I rented. However when I returned the car on Sunday at the same time I looked inside and saw the line was quite long so might depend. The worst rental car experience EVER!!! The line was literally 1 hr to get seen where every other car rental place in the terminal was not even a wait. I would NEVER rent from these guys again- no matter what price they’re offering. They don’t accept Apple Pay, they make you fill out long forms and the blonde manager there is truly an airhead who’s completely out to lunch. She kept hinding in her office instead of helping them move the line quicker.

Where is my $500 deposit? It has been weeks, and I still have not received my refund. To make matters worse, I never even rented the car—I wasn’t able to. I did receive an email response from customer service, and I’m waiting to see if they resolve the issue, but even they are struggling to get a response from the company. If I don’t receive my deposit soon, I will be filing a complaint with the BBB. What a shame!
