Horrible experience renting from thrifty! The employee was so rude and disrespectful. He was blatantly trying to coerce me into spending more money and was being evasive when I questioned him about extra charges. He was super pushy and when I said no he just frowned and stared and tried to make it seem like I was an idiot. Garbage service. Booked a minivan, got a confirmation number from Thrifty and reminder text from Thrifty. When I showed up, however, the person at the desk merely said there were no minivans left. She did not volunteer further information. After prompting, she said there were not any vehicles at all available as they had all been booked. Great. Do not book here unless you want the worst customer service experience of your life. I unfortunately have made the mistake more than once. There are rental car companies right down the road, and the experience will be might and DAY. These people do not care about you and your well being at all, and will not treat you with any kind of respect or customer service. I know it’s a little cheaper, but trust me when I say it is NOT worth it.
Sheri is a godsend, I made it late there Saturday to turn my car in and she was in the process of leaving but she still processed my car and let me turn it in. I forgot that Thrifty Car Rental closes at 12 noon on Saturdays. I got the car at 1230, soI assumed I could turn it back in then. She wasn't happy with me, but she saved me a major headache 🙏🙏
