I took a trip for Seattle to Orlando. I went with thrifty rates because to me they were the best ones for me and my family. Highly deceptive practices. They add unauthorized hidden charges, swap your reserved car for a worse one while charging more, and aggressively push unnecessary upgrades, questionable insurance, and toll passes. I had to fight hard just to keep my original booking price. Avoid this place
Be careful with these con artists travelled from uk to orlando when getting my car hire thrifty added insurances on that I never asked for when I asked if I needed them they said yes with this car which I later found was untrue and I am still in dispute with them now as missold and I went on this holiday August 2025. Shocking company.
Garbage ever they acted like they are cheaper mind you I payed Mazda 335- the only money I'm supposed to give $75 I came in he added all this ship then he told me 284 down and another 200 again so I don't understand don't go there first and last time tonight I have something to talk about in my podcast
This is our second trip to Orlando this year on the first occasion we booked with Budget and had the worst experience, huge ques on arrival and long waits with no cars available when at desk left us taking uber to hotel at 200 dollars and then renting a car elsewhere the next day with no no reimbursement from holiday extras.
