I was worried when I read reviews but I had a good experience with them. I would mention their staff, CRISTINE. She explained everything including $500 hold since I'm using my debit card. She even walked me all the way to my car rental. I got charged for the toll per day, and cleaning which is already expected. Overall, i give them 5 stars but mostly because of the good experience from their Staff Cristine who is respectful and accommodating.
Whole rental experience was horrible. The lady spent more time trying to add fee and up sale the rental. She was rude and angry when we didn’t buy all the extra junk. Zero stars if possible.
When you need that rental car at a good price.
They will find a way to rip you off. Do not rent from them after returning the car they charged us $100.00 for something outside car wash which we have of video of the car in and outside that very clean and they never mentioned it once when we were getting the car that has to be washed, and since when car washing is costing $100.00.
We had a disappointing experience with Thrifty, similar to what many others have reported. The check-in staff was rude and unhelpful. Our first assigned car had a cracked windshield, and we were told we couldn’t take it just as we were about to exit the garage. The attendant directed us back to the customer service desk, which was closed, forcing us to return all the way to the airport terminal. The second car they gave us had no key.
