If I could give this place zero stars, I would — but sadly, that’s not an option. I booked a rental car through Hopper thinking it would be smooth and convenient. Instead, it was a nightmare. I prepaid for a reservation with Thrifty, showed up, and was told they had no cars available. That’s it. No help, no transfer, no backup plan. They just told me to call customer service. Reserved a sedan. Given an EV. I'm on vacation. There is no way to charge it at the condo. Tried calling the store. Put on permahold, after 3 attempts to get someone on the phone. Tried returning it. Told to come back tomorrow. The manager was pleasant, but so far, I'm out 2 days of vacation. And while it wasn't me, I watched them turn away 3 customers that had reservations, but they did not have cars to give them.
