My experience with Thrifty Car Rental was absolutely unacceptable from beginning to end. I would strongly caution anyone considering renting from this company to document EVERYTHING. I made my reservation through Expedia and received an approved/confirmed reservation. When I arrived at Thrifty, however, they did not have the vehicle I reserved available. ⭐️ 1 Star Absolutely terrible customer service from the Thrifty Yonkers location. I had a rental that I paid for upfront, but my plans changed and I needed to cancel the reservation and request a refund. I started trying to contact this location BEFORE the cancellation deadline, and I called multiple times. Nobody answered the phone. I continued trying to reach them because I wanted to handle the cancellation properly, but it was impossible to get anyone on the phone. Customer Service was dry, long wait, car was dirty, you could tell it was not cleaned from last rental. Didn’t get the car I booked, got a down grade. Was just disappointed overall.
