What An Awesome Store! I personally don't do a lot of knitting. But when I do, I go to Threadbender for any and every thing I need. Julie and her staff are wonderful. The classes are of a wide variety and decently priced. My mother spends almost every weekend there shopping for new projects and yarns. They even have a monthly private dinner event! Definitely check out this store!
Giant selection of yarn I only know of this place, b/c my mother likes to knit. This place is packed with thread, yarn, looms, etc... anything you could possibly need for knitting. They also offer knitting classes and looming classes. In the back, they have giant looms where you can learn about the warp and the weft... kind of cool to see! Your one stop knitting shop.
Yarn Geek If you love knitting and are a yarn geek like I am, you should check out Threadbender. It's a small store, but they have a good selection of yarn, in all prices and styles. They also have a good selection of needles and other tools. I have not taken one of their classes, but I have asked the employees to show me how to do things, and they were very helpful.

This is the place to go if you knit, crochet, cross stitch or any other craft! The selection of yarn, threads and supplies is beyond belief! To top it off, the staff is friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable! The prices are very reasonable as well.
one of the best yarn shops in the area Threadbender is what a yarn shop should be - full of great yarns, a friendly staff who is passionate about needlework and has information to help customers. I don't have much more to say than that - when you think of the ideal local yarn store, they deliver.
