On May 14, 2019 I personally went to this office to fill out paperwork for a withdrawal of my 401K. Thoroughbred Financial was to contact my former employer to sign the paperwork so that my request would be processed in 3 days as expected. Another 2 weeks go by and my request is finally processed on May 30, 2019. Thoroughbred Financial did not follow up with my former employer in a timely manner to see what the hold up was. While we regret that obtaining Ms. ******'s 401(k) distribution was a stressful experience for her, we are confident that Thoroughbred Financial Services (TFS) and its employees did more than could be reasonably expected to expedite the process. TFS did not have the authority to approve Ms. ******'s 401(k) withdrawal nor any other employee's withdrawals. TFS did not have the authority to process the payment.
