My dad stays here and I am very happy with the staff, services offered, and the food. I honestly don't think that I could wish for a better place to take care of my dad. Everything is great. Would definitely recommend.
I could not ask for a more attentive and caring staff than what my Mom has at Thornwald currently, they truly care about the residents, not just a job. I've seen them hug, and cry with them at difficult times. I feel so confident letting them in charge of her. Recommend them over all else. We are blessed that she is in Thornwald.
So far, we have had no problems with the care, the attitudes, the food. Everyone clearly acts as though they love the residents and want the best for them. One person in charge went so far as to bring in a TV for a resident who was going to be without one for a week. That is going above and beyond.
Always communicate with me, and take excellent care of my family member
If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. The executive director harasses and is flat out rude to employees. Favoritism there is at an all time high. Do not work here if you want to be 1 of 2 or 1 of 3 aids taking care of 82 residents. Residents are not being cared for properly due to the lack of staffing. I have never in my entire life worked at a facility where the coworkers and management gossip and bully each other. Management does not help at all.
