Good range of souvenirs, groceries, fishing supplies etc. They cook burgers etc which can be good for lunch. Seems to only be open on select days.
We ate here once and planned the rest of our trip's meals around when Thompsons burgers were available. We ended up visiting 3 times during our one week visit.. Thomo's, Gower and Future Burger are our picks. Don't skip the chips 😋

This review is for both the store and the burgers from my visit in June 2026. This general store is a bit smaller than Joy’s Shop. Thompson’s does carry fishing gear and swim/snorkel equipment! I liked their assortment of souvenirs as well. The service is so friendly here. There was the island’s single Asian-looking lady behind the counter. The general store has beach stuff like toys, snorkeling equipment, sunscreen, fishing gear, and various outdoor items like wet bags. They don’t rent equipment anymore unfortunately. I was really disappointed with my cheeseburger after reading rave reviews. The patty was of super low quality and also no sign of cheese. Nice roll though, I was happy to see it wasn't brioche. The hot chips were the best I had on the island! The store itself has an abundance of quality giftwares and souvenirs as well as grocery items including fresh produce.
