Great but why is the floor cleaner being ran during finals week while the library is open and why is it so loud

Thompson Library is a beautiful, very clean place to study with 11 floors that are well-lit and usually quiet. There are elevators that reach every floor, but they can take a while to come, which may be difficult for anyone who depends on them for accessibility. Most floors are flat and easy to move around on, but the main floor dips down into another section where the Berry Café and tech support are located, which could be confusing or a barrier for some visitors. Busy but usually a good place to hang out, especially in early morning. Cafe isn't anything outstanding but hey, it's a cafe, easy access to coffee and hot chocolate while studying is good. Lots of open space to fly around and sunlight :]

A good place to study late. I have to take time to look in the stacks more. The area I was in seemed to have older books for a lot of the subject I was looking for, which was technology driven.
