Shortreed is managing my parents' estate, which is now in probate court in Erie County, Ohio. My sister claims she has done nothing but follow the financial advice of Ameriprise and Thomas Shortreed and his agents. I guess time and the courts will tell. However, if you want to keep your families estate out of probate court, I would advise maybe using a different financial company.
