Paid 3500 for their services in a custody battle. My phone broke and he couldn't reach me for 2 days while it was being repaired. They had my mailing address as well. I immediately called them back after getting phone fixed and he had filed paperwork to drop me as a client. They literally took 3500 in hard earned cash and ran. Stay away at all cost. And the one court day we attended our case was passed to another attorney from his office. That attorney was timid and basically got walked all over by my exs female attorney.
I had a consultation with this attorney which went well. I then paid the retainer and failed to hear from anyone or even receive a receipt or confirmation of payment for 4+ weeks. I attempted to call & email & the attorney was never available to talk. Eventually I was told he has a different attorney "helping him out & that person could call me...but they're not in today or tomorrow so they can call next week sometime.
