I’m a former student at Thomas Edison charter south. And they helped me become a better person and as well as in my school work. And now I’m sitting typing this post as a graduate from sky view high, and now in my senior year of college with 2 1/2 years left. Thank you for all you did!! Edison south staff from 2008-2012
The teachers & their abilities to be self disciplined when dealing with our children (in their good & bad times)
All 6 of my children have gone to Thomas Edison for at least 1 year; three of them having attended from Kindergarten through 8th grade. As a parent, I have loved the learning environment that I see there. I especially like the reading and math programs that the school implements. It is wonderful to see the core principles consistently taught and reinforced year after year. Thomas Edison North and South Charter Schools are the absolute BEST places to send your children for Elementary and Middle School education in the Cache Valley! Also, Wonderful Band Orchestra and Choir programs, too!
Thomas Edison Charter School is truly geared to get your kids ready for college. It is a place where they not only learn excellent curriculum, but they learn life skills and behaviors. TECS is filled with a caring staff that wants to see every child succeed and be pushed to the very best they can be. High standards and expectations make TECS the place to be!
My kids have loved Thomas Edison, and they will say it's all because of the teachers. I love the teachers too, but I'm most grateful for the clean, positive atmosphere. No phones, lots of great interaction between the students, as well as between the students and teachers. Since starting at this school 6 years ago, the improvements I've seen in my kids ability to express themselves verbally and in writing is seriously impressive!
There are Some (not all) of the teachers and the Vice Principal that are down right mean to the kids. I really feel that the school has gone down hill the last couple of years. In fact this is the last year my kids will be attending, I am tired of watching my kids cry every night because of how they are treated.
So far it has been a great experience.
