Paul and the team at Things of metal and wood recently built a beautiful entertainment unit for us, and we're delighted. Paul was really communicative, laid out the plans and confirmed, and was very helpful with transport, etc.
Paul has immaculate attention to detail. The custom balustrade he designed for our home is functional and beautiful. Guests always comment on how stunning it is as you open the front door. Paul is remarkably good at what he does and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him or use him again for future projects.
We would highly recommend working with Paul and Belinda. Paul built our custom table, stools, bench seat and mirror cabinets for our gym and they are amazing. Out of all the trades we engaged for our gym build Paul was definitely the easiest to work with and the most reliable. It was great being able discuss things in person and adjust on the fly if needed. I'd give them 6 out of 5 stars if I could!
I’ve worked with Paul from Things of Metal and Wood on a number of projects where he manufactured and assisted with installing aluminium and timber elements, including custom roof flashings, aluminium feature fences and gates, and timber benchtops. Paul is a true master craftsman and his workmanship is second to none. His attention to detail and pride in his work really shows in the finished product. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for high-quality custom metal or timber work.
We custom ordered a Tasmanian Blackwood round table with steel legs. Magnificent piece of furniture. We did our homework and it paid off. Great value and great outcome. Would highly recommend this business.
