This keeps me cool when in the NC summer heat. I can have more outside activities when I wear mine!
I have two cooling vests from ThermApparel and they are GREAT! We do a Christmas in July event in a parking lot where the average temperature is 90-100% with anywhere from 70-100% humidity. I wear the vest with pouches full of the cooling packs around my back. I then have on a t-shirt and a short sleeve shirt. The vests keep me cool enough to sit there from 2 hours and not expire from the heat. If you need something to help you stay cool, I HIGHLY recommend ThermApparel's products!
I love the undercool! I am a runner with MS and the vest helps me run more days each year than I could without it. It’s super comfortable and doesn’t impede running. I’m really happy getting about an extra month of running per year, but even with the vest I can’t run outside all summer. I say that just because I think some people’s expectations are too high. Editing to add that customer service is amazing!!
First, this company has real human customer service that is fantastic. I’d tried several wearable cooling products over the years to cope with a lack of body temp regulation (athyroidal, perimenopausal in the tropics, ‘nuf said.) Marching in a day parade as a drummer in a bagpipe band, including all the wool, results in serious heat problems for me. No problem ordering online. They are also fast either by chat or email to answer questions . Their product is made well and will last for long time I have 3 of them.
