visited one of my favourite spots in Winnipeg today after quite some time, and noticed quite a few changes. Unfortunately, my favourite chef is no longer there — he was truly amazing! The new chef does have some nice dishes, but I found there weren’t enough fish options and a few too many sandwiches on the menu. I visited Thermea yesterday and was quite disappointed. The facility is marketed as a high-end, serene spa experience, but it felt much closer to a crowded public pool. The cost was $90 just for the pools and saunas - no food, drinks, or spa services included - and it didn’t come close to feeling worth that price. Pros: Staff were friendly and helpful. It was our first time coming here after numerous friends had a great previous visit, so decided to check it out for ourselves! Facilities were clean, some areas had minor waits but nothing obscure. Staff were amazing, accommodating and friendly! Restaurant and bar staff are great! Massage services provided highly recommended.
Great relaxing experience
Went yesterday, the experience was nice and relaxing. however, they recently increased the price from before. That is unfortunate considering they haven’t added anything. Additionally, the hot tub was extremely loud, and no one enforcing quiet like my previous visit. It was also really crowded.
