Been on the waiting list for over 2 years and no one mentioned that we need to update the referral which was required months ago. We did and no one called to let us know that they received it after waiting a week for this “supposed” follow up call they do. Called and their receptionist placed me immediately on hold over 5 minutes to look for an appointment that’s 6 months from now to have my son re-evaluated… That’s not even taking into account of any future appointments IF they can fit him in. Alexis, my son’s speech therapist is absolutely amazing. She’s patient, sweet and very good in helping with his speech development. My toddler loves her and runs to her with a hug:) We see progress and would definitely recommend this place for your child’s needs.
DO NOT RECOMMEND! I’ve been taking my autistic daughter for over a year. She has not advanced at all they said they couldn’t even get passed basics. Had appointment and when I got there the speech therapist said she wasn’t going to attend her because she didn’t feel comfortable with her. Take in mind that it’s an hour drive. Aren’t they supposed to be specialized to work with difficult children? Find different strategies that will work for different needs. Not autistic friendly!
