I was diagnosed with schizophrenia. I went to access for years. What I'm about to say is unfortunately very true. I was tortured with meds for 7 years. The side effect for me was intense pain. I told crisis counselors, my doctors of course and no one helped me. I eventually started drinking because of the pain. I used to self mutilate.
