The Woolen Needle is a fantastic and cozy shop with a great selection of fabrics for quilting. Everyone who works there is always super nice, helpful and loves to talk about cool projects they've seen or your ideas for your own project. They have ruined all other fabric stores for me, but I'm not complaining.
Huge selection of wools and kits. The quilts are impeccable. The store is set on the charming village square and has warm vibes. Worth a short detour off of I-80!
A friend from out of state recommended this shop to me, to my surprise, I discovered it was just over an hour away. My husband and I took a trip over to visit the shop on a Saturday. I was delighted to see how beautiful the store had displayed the fabrics, wool, and samples. If you're into wool this is the place for you. They also have fabric for those that can't work with wool.
This shop has been an oasis for textile crafters and artisans for years. What a pleasure it is to see an active center for makers to gather and share ideas while having an excellent and inspired collection of fabrics, pattern kits, quilters, and stitchers supplies.
