I thoroughly recommend The Wood Guys. I was looking for a wedding gift for my niece who is also my goddaughter. She was brought up in Hobart but now lives in Canberra so I wanted something special with a link to Tasmania. Quality which will last with a personal touch, not anything from a department store. Fantastic source of quality veneers. I sourced a beautiful piece of huon pine that they then got assembled into a machined washboard for my yacht and it how has pride of place. Helpful and knowledgeable staff always willing to assist plus a great selection of boards, slabs and veneers to boot
