Take your loved ones to a different place! The retirement home is severely understaffed & the residents are not treated as well as they should be! The care for the elderly residents is heartbreaking

This place is filthy, not designed for people in wheel chairs (why on earth are the handicap levers 12 feet away from the door? They end up closing on the residents), the food is unacceptable, the staff does not follow recommendations made by medical professionals such as doctors, the staff speak in their own language RIGHT in front of the patients, staff other than nurses do not seem to know basic fist aid. Absolutely run in the other direction. This place is abysmal. Lack competence in care and do not even meet their own standards of care. We caught them falsifying documents that claim they did their hourly checks. Only after forcing issues did the do their morning change and routine at 1pm!. I am disgusted that the hospital has a contract with this facility.

This place should not be recommended to or by anyone. The care is abysmal and while they are short staffed (1 nurse for every 22 patients) the actual human effort is even less. My husband was eventually transferred back to KGH where he ultimately passed away. He returned there after a short stay at Windsor and had a huge pressure sore that had not been treated. He had diabetes and they were aware of this. Please do not recommend or allow your loved ones to enter.
