Update Sept 14 - I had really hoped I could give all positive updates by now, as the management has been consistantly helpful and supportive, but the staff really cannot handle insulin dependant diabetes, and do not understand that insulin must be give with the meal, and not an hour or two later when the spike is 17+. This keeps happening even though fully preventable by giving her prescribed insulin immediately after eating or nutrient shake, as ordered by MD. They just can't do it. Update Aug.31 - The management, Emily, has worked very hard to address the night staff issues, with much improvement, and they are working on the food, insulin, and diabetes issues - it is a challenge, and we appreciate their efforts! Our family’s journey to Willow has been an incredibly difficult one. Our mother suffers from severe dementia and recently had a fall that led to a hospital stay.
